What You Resist Is Already Running You
Resistance is sneaky. It shows up as procrastination, frustration, or avoidance. But underneath it, resistance is information.
In Shine, Know Thyself invites you to notice patterns, not judge them. When you resist something, your first instinct may be to push harder. The wiser move is to ask why.
What are you resisting right now? A conversation. A decision. A truth. A change. That resistance isn’t random. It’s pointing directly at something important.
Here’s the practice. Name the resistance without fixing it. “I’m resisting this conversation.” Then ask, “What am I afraid will happen if I move forward?” The answer is usually illuminating.
We’ve talked on Shed and Shine about how avoidance drains more energy than action ever could. The longer you resist, the more power it takes from you.
Face what you’re resisting and you reclaim your energy.
Stay Focused,
