You Are Not Alone

I’ll bet you move pretty fast in life. You likely carry a lot of responsibilities such as making decisions that affect your family, team, and communities. All of this movement is energy. And, with all that energy flowing around, you might feel separate, as if it is all on you.

But, when you slow down and become still, you have an opportunity to come out of your mind and open to the knowledge that you are not alone. You’re like a tree . . . drawing strength from the soil, the sun, and the air, your life is supported by countless visible and invisible forces.

Consider what might happen for you when you become still enough to feel that. Remembering that each breath you take is shared air. That your successes are built on relationships. That the love you give returns to you in ways you cannot always measure. In those quiet moments, the illusion of separation softens. You remember that you are part of something larger. Peace grows when you realize you do not have to carry everything by yourself.

Journaling prompt

Where in your life are you feeling as if you are separate from others, and what would change if you truly embraced that you are deeply connected to everything around you?

Final Thought

“I have come to a deep and priceless awareness that I am but a small part of a much larger whole. This means that as I heal, this healing impacts the whole interconnected reality of which I am a part. As I heal, the world heals. As I am, the world becomes.” - Excerpted from: At Hell's Gate: A Soldier's Journey from War to Peace

May you move through your days aware that you are woven into something far greater than yourself and supported in ways you cannot always see.

Wishing you lots of joy ♥️

Much love,
Rob
